Required Qualifications

  • Education & Licensing

    • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, or related field from accredited institution

    • Active registration with Singapore Register of Psychologists (SRP) or equivalent recognized credentials

    • Minimum 3 years of clinical experience in individual therapy

    • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

    Clinical Expertise

    • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, or psychodynamic approaches)

    • Experience with psychological assessment and testing

    • Knowledge of DSM-5-TR diagnostic criteria

    • Understanding of trauma-informed care principles

    • Experience with diverse populations and cultural competency

Preferred Qualifications

  • Specialization in anxiety disorders, depression, or trauma therapy
  • Experience with online therapy platforms or telehealth delivery
  • Bilingual capabilities (English plus Mandarin, Malay, or Tamil)
  • Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic approaches
  • Research experience or publications in psychology field
  • Corporate wellness or EAP program experience

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Practice

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments using validated instruments
  • Provide individual therapy sessions via secure video conferencing platform
  • Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs
  • Maintain detailed clinical documentation and progress notes
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members when appropriate

Client Care Excellence

  • Deliver culturally sensitive therapy to Singapore’s diverse population
  • Manage caseload of 20-30 active clients per week
  • Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when needed
  • Conduct regular outcome measurements and progress evaluations
  • Ensure all interventions align with ethical guidelines and best practices

Participate in regular clinical supervision and case consultation

Attend monthly team meetings and professional development workshops

Stay current with latest research in online therapy delivery

Contribute to clinical protocol development and improvement initiatives

Mentor junior staff and psychology interns when applicable
